Community Outreach

Ok, so you've donated your unused supplies, we sold them in the Northworks store. Now what?! What exactly does Northworks do with that money?

That's a great question! As a non-profit, every penny earned through Northworks either goes directly back into operating the company, or into the local community through our outreach programs. There is no CEO buying a third summer home, no shareholders waiting for their payout.. just our local community.

While Northworks is getting up and running, we've been planning a few of our community programs. Here are a few things you can expect from Northworks in the future:

• Free workshops
• Craft clubs (think sewing circle, cross stitch club, adult colouring nights...)
• Free art therapy for children going through a loss, at risk teens and first responders
• Providing free assistive art tools to locals with physical disabilities
• Art material donations to schools in low income areas
• Free community art projects at festivals and events
• & more!

The team at Northworks is passionate about giving back to the Greater Sudbury community. You will see us a lot!
